Caregiver-Overnights

Job Summary:

Village Caregiving in London Kentucky is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care to a clients in the Manchester KYarea. This position is overnight. This is a part-time hourly home care position. As an In-Home Caregiver you will be responsible for helping our clients with daily tasks and activities to ensure they can maintain a comfortable and independent lifestyle in their own homes.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Accompany clients to doctors appointments and other outings
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry sweeping and dishes
- Engage in conversation and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to the appropriate parties
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical and healthcare practices
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
