Caregiver Part-Time (1st 2nd & Weekend Shifts)

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee WI and surrounding areas
Schedule:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Weekend Shifts Available

Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking compassionate dependable and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing dressing and grooming
Offer companionship and emotional support
Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
Perform light housekeeping tasks
Provide medication reminders
Safely assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts and other mobility/transfer devices when needed
Provide transportation to appointments errands and community activities
Help maintain a safe clean and comfortable home environment

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
Valid drivers license and reliable insured vehicle required
Comfortable providing care for clients with varying levels of care needs
Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs
Comfortable working with clients who smoke
Experience using Hoyer lifts and other transfer devices is preferred; training may be provided based on assignment
Reliable punctual compassionate and committed to providing excellent care
Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
