Caregiver Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Saline MI. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities and providing exceptional in-home care to enhance their quality of life.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
• Help with mobility and transfers ensuring client safety at all times
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to nursing or supervisory staff
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records
• Follow care plans and company policies strictly

• Prior experience incaregiving or a related healthcare field is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently
• Basic understanding of safety and infection control procedures
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a plus.

• Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00 paid twice a month
