RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct job-readiness workshops
• Plan and facilitate training workshops on career-related topics
• Provide retention and advancement services
• Assess residents employment and training needs
• Meet all goals set by funder for Career Development Specialists position
• Help members complete career plans.
• Perform additional duties and task as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree required. Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Ability to read write and speak the English language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite database management and other standard business technology is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand walk or sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.
