JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Certified NP required
  • Licenses: WA license highly preferred will consider obtaining during credentialing
  • Experience: Cardiothoracic surgery experience including OR and ICU/acute care management required
  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background highly preferred; self-query NPDB report required at presentation; local provider highly preferred (no flights)
Duties & Responsibilities
  • First-assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG valve repair/replacement aneurysm repair and lung resections.
  • Manage pre- and post-operative care in ICU and acute care inpatient units.
  • Perform daily rounds on hospitalized surgical patients and provide necessary assessments and interventions.
  • Provide limited outpatient clinic coverage (approximately 5% of time).
  • Participate in call rotation (weeknight overnight call 5p7a and weekend call) for emergent surgical consults and patient management.
