JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certification
- Licenses: Active IN license
- Certifications: ACLS
- NPDB self-query report required
- Experience: Experienced NP/PA with Cardiothoracic surgery background; no new graduates
- Maquet vein harvesting experience
- Other Qualifications: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- First assist in Cardiothoracic surgeries including vein harvesting
- Round on inpatients assess health status order and interpret diagnostic tests and write prescriptions
- Perform pre-operative physical exams and post-operative care (chest tube removal pacing wire removal wound care)
- Collaborate with attending surgeons and multidisciplinary team on treatment plans
- Respond to emergencies perform CPR and follow ACLS protocols; maintain thorough documentation
