How youll contribute

ACardiovascular Technician II who excels in this role:

• Reviews patient history and physicians orders. Educates patient regarding procedures equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation. Enter new data as needed.

• Monitors heart rhythms blood pressure and oxygen levels. Reports any changes to the appropriate person.

• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.

• Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

• Administers medications to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.

What were lookingfor:

• 1 Year Experience in the Cath Lab

• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g. Cardiovascular Technology Radiologic Technology Respiratory Therapy Exercise Science Paramedicine Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent academic program and experience.)

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Non-Radiologic Technology and Licensed Practical Nursing requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 6 months of hire

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Preferred
