How youll contribute

ACardiovascular Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Operates specialized equipment for use in diagnostic and vascular test; and therapeutic interventions performed in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab

• Scrubs at the tableside and monitor patients as assigned.

• Responsible for patient transport as necessary.

• Prepareequipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots resolves and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

What were looking for

• Education: Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology) - Required

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be obtained within 90 days of employment.

• Experience: One-yearcardiovascular lab or special procedures experience - be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure.

• Licenses: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab.

• Required Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability integrity and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel medical staff hospital administration and all hospital department.
