This is a critical onsite position based at the Medical Center. You will assist credentialed providers with diagnostic interventional and therapeutic procedures within cardiac and vascular labs. This role requires clinical expertise technical precision and the ability to act as a scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for various cardiology and radiology studies.

• Procedure Support: Function as a scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.

• Patient Care: Manage arterial and venous access sites and participate in hemodynamic monitoring.

• Equipment Management: Prepare maintain and operate complex hemodynamic monitoring equipment including Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps.

• Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation with a mandatory 30-minute response time for emergency cardiac events.

• Clinical Skills: Ability to perform basic/advanced life support (including defibrillation) and point-of-care lab tests.

• Cardiac Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and perform hemodynamic calculations necessary for diagnosing heart disease.

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with IVUS Site Rite ultrasound machines and specialized hemodynamic monitoring hardware.

• Professionalism: Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in a high-pressure fast-paced hospital environment.
