Position Highlights
Explains procedure to the patient and complete consent form.
Prep skin to obtain good EKG tracing.
Use proper electrode placement and equipment set up.
Obtain manual BPs and follow the correct stress protocol.
Document ongoing patient vitals during and after the stress test.
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor in Exercise Science preferred
Completion of CAN program Medical Assistant Program or like program required. 2-3 years of cardiac patient care experience with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms preferred.
