Payrate: $21 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to support our Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension program.

This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments procedures and surgeries while providing exceptional front-desk and customer service support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule procedures surgeries testing and follow-up appointments
  • Verify patient demographics insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
  • Manage patient check-in/check-out and provide post-visit instructions
  • Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative care requirements
  • Handle high-volume phone calls and route messages appropriately
  • Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians hospitals and other departments to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare or medical office experience
  • Strong data entry organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR cardiology surgical scheduling or CPT/ICD-10 coding is a plus
