Call Coverage:
- Calls from hospital med (in house Apps) or ER or earlier in the evening come from the transfer center or the call center.
- Mostly about consults (typically seen the next day). We send a group distribution list to notify the team coming on the next day and they should see the patient.
- A hub & spoke call.
No. of Call-backs: Low
Patient Volume: 5-8 at each campus
Support Staff:
- IP rounds would be w/ APP support (weekdays only no weekend support)
- No APP support during call
Required Procedures: General Cardiology ECHO & TEE
EMR: Epic
Other Info: 4 facilities
- Hub and spoke model with Hub being academic medical center. Covering 4 hospitals for call and possibility of some ambulatory visits.
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active NE License or IMLC
BC
ACLS BLS
Must disclose the specific dates available to cover between Oct-Dec
Understand that night call coverage is at all 4 sites
