As our Cardiac Nurse youll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.
Youll never have the same day twice as your patients needs evolve. Thats why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists EKG techs and other cardiovascular professionals.

- Perform and monitor cardiovascular diagnostic and stress testing including EKG interpretation IV therapy and continuous assessment to ensure patient safety and identify abnormal findings.
- Assess triage and manage cardiac patients using clinical judgment established protocols and collaboration with providers to coordinate treatment testing and emergency interventions.
- Provide comprehensive patient education and care coordination by reviewing medical histories preparing patients for procedures and delivering pre- and post-procedure instructions.
- Administer medications and IV therapies monitor cardiac devices and diagnostic results and assist with treatment planning medication adjustments and follow-up care.
- Complete cardiac risk assessments medical documentation and regulatory forms while maintaining accurate electronic medical records and supporting provider decision-making.
- Respond to patient inquiries process provider orders maintain emergency preparedness and clinical equipment and collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiovascular care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing and two years of related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities upon hire and
- Registered Nurse: WA upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
Preferred
- Work experience in a cardiology-related field
