This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative patient-focused environment with a highly skilled team dedicated to providing exceptional cardiac Cath Lab consists of one procedure room allowing for a close-knit team atmosphere and direct involvement in a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac SummaryThe Cardiac Catheterization Technologist assists physicians and clinical staff in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This role is responsible for preparing patients and equipment maintaining a sterile environment operating specialized imaging equipment and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and through FridayNo call requirementsVariable hours based on procedural volume and department needsEssential ResponsibilitiesPrepare procedure rooms equipment and supplies for cardiac catheterization physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention patient status and communicate changes to the clinical procedural information accurately and with patient transport positioning and post-procedure care as in quality and patient safety equipment and report operational concerns of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Radiologic Technology or related certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with cardiac catheterization Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification of five year of recent cardiac catheterization laboratory experience understanding of sterile technique cardiovascular anatomy and cardiac to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork attention to detail and patient to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing procedural with cardiac catheterization equipment and electronic documentation to providing compassionate high-quality patient Community HospitalCommunity Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
