Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Cardiovascular Technologist Cardiac Cath Lab for an exciting Travel or Local job in Dover DE.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms prior to cases
• Ensure proper documentation and procedural consents are completed
• Operate fluoroscopy and x-ray imaging equipment independently
• Monitor and document procedures accurately within the MacLab system
• Maintain radiation safety standards during all procedures
• Assist with achieving hemostasis post-procedure
• Support room turnover and infection control protocols
• Administer intra-coronary medications per hospital policy
• Participate in continuing education certifications and professional development

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences OR Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) OR ARRT (RT) Registered Technologist in Radiography required
• ACLS Certification required
• BLS Certification required (within 90 days if not already obtained)
• Medical Radiologic Technologist credential required
• Minimum 18 months of diagnostic radiology experience OR completion of accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program with recommendation letters from Program Director and Clinical Site Preceptor
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Experience with interventional cardiology procedures electrophysiology procedures and peripheral vascular interventions preferred
• Bachelors Degree preferred
