Cardiac Anesthesiologist

As our Cardiac Anesthesiologist you will join our collaborative and growing team at St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC). SJMC is a 385 bed Level II Trauma tertiary care medical center in downtown Tacoma.

Every day you will support our long-standing 3-star STS cardiac surgery program and growing interventional platform. Case mix includes open heart high risk thoracic/vascular electrophysiology and structural heart cases (with care team supervision in EP lab).

To be successful in this role you will be a skilled board-certified and compassionate Cardiac Anesthesiologist. We are offering a guaranteed annual salary of $625000 starting bonus relocation assistance up to $50000 /year in performance bonuses $3500/year CME support ($5000 if echo boarded) 8 weeks vacation generous employer-subsidized benefits including both 401(k) and 457(b) plans with employer matching in the 401(k). • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA)
• Completion of Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology
• Active Washington State Medical License or eligible for licensure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients families and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality compassionate care to all patients and families

Preferred

• 2 years experience following training
• EPIC experience
