JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC required (Board Eligible minimum)
- Licenses: Active WI or IMLC will accept those willing to apply
- Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS
- Fellowship: Preferred
- Experience: Board Certified or Eligible with recent TEE experience (30-40 cases in past year) and proficiency in arterial/central line placements and regional blocks
- Other Qualifications: TEE certification required (basic or advanced) cardiac trained collegial and flexible
- Provide cardiac anesthesia coverage including 80% structural and 20% pump cases.
- Perform general anesthesia when no cardiac cases are scheduled.
- Place arterial lines central lines and regional blocks as needed.
- Manage intraoperative ventilation acute volume/BP issues and perform intraoperative TEE.
- Take beeper call (weeknights and weekends) for cardiac anesthesia coverage.
