Card Room Attendant

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens FL is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Card Room Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to private country club members.

Essential Duties:
Greet and assist members and guests in the card room ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
Respond to inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintains acceptable level of food and beverage and card room supplies. Notifies management well in advance when additional supplies are needed.
Set up and breakdown of all snack and beverage stations and maintenance.
Offer beverage service to include cocktail service from the bar.
Ability to use POS service. (Jonas)
Keep tables counters and side tables clear of dirty dishes and wastepaper.
Wash dry and restock coffee cups and snack dishes.
Fill and maintain snack containers. Assure there are fresh snacks and place daily orders as needed.
Keep all card tablecloths clean. Inform management if replacement or deep cleaning is needed.
Keep storage area clean and organized.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as requested.

Education/ Experience:
Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and walks uses hands reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits stoops kneels crouches or crawls talks or hears. Occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs.

Job Knowledge Skills and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
