Steven Nissan is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Car Buyer to help grow our used vehicle inventory. This role is responsible for sourcing evaluating and purchasing vehicles directly from private sellers and online marketplaces while creating a positive experience for every customer.

You will learn how to identify market opportunities evaluate vehicle values negotiate purchases and utilize industry-leading software and technology to acquire inventory that helps drive dealership success.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships solving problems and working in a role that combines customer interaction negotiation and market analysis.

This is not a traditional retail sales position. Rather than selling vehicles to customers youll focus on acquiring quality inventory and working directly with individuals interested in selling their vehicles.

Source vehicle acquisition opportunities through online marketplaces customer leads service drive opportunities and other channels

Contact potential sellers and schedule vehicle evaluations

Conduct vehicle walkarounds and gather information needed for appraisal

Utilize dealership software and market data to determine vehicle values

Negotiate vehicle purchases professionally and ethically

Build strong relationships with customers throughout the buying process

Maintain accurate records and follow-up activities within dealership systems

Work closely with management to identify inventory needs and acquisition opportunities

Assist in achieving dealership inventory and purchasing goals

No automotive experience required

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Positive attitude and high energy throughout the workday

Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn and grow

Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Comfortable using technology and learning new software systems

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Valid drivers license and clean driving record required

Sales customer service hospitality or relationship-building experience is a plus
