We are looking for a Capital Projects Engineer to join our team as the link between Engineering Production and Quality to support Amboys initiatives in capital this role youll use your engineering knowledge and project management skills to coordinate lead and manage capital projects for the Amboy facility.

What youll do

Bid projects and review engineering information to ensure alignment with project objectives cross-functionally. Track and manage project schedules while adhering to budget guidelines.
Lead and manage all phases of capital projects including scope work development engineering implementation and project management.
Use data to recommend evaluate and implement new engineering projects protocols and parameters to improve production throughput support quality/safety initiatives or provide cost savings.
Troubleshoot Amboy processes including support in the determination of root causes for example in determining reasons behind first pass quality failures.

What youll bring

BS in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Chemical Engineering is preferred
Experience working in manufacturing (ideally food or chemical industry)
Ability/experience managing numerous projects or assignments and prioritize work.
Strong communication skills with peers management plant employees and contractors.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands on logical self-starter mindset.

The salary range for this position is $65000 - $95000. Pay within the range is based on several factors which may include but are not limited to education work experience specialized training and labor market addition to salary Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
