Capital Markets Analyst

As a Capital Markets Analyst youll play a critical role in helping publicly traded companies better understand their shareholder base engage with the investment community and develop data-driven investor relations strategies.

• Gather analyze and interpret ownership data from multiple sources to identify shareholder positions peer benchmarks and market trends delivering accurate and timely reports to clients.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts building trusted relationships and ensuring service is aligned with each clients investor relations needs.
• Conduct regular client outreach to share market developments sector updates and strategic insights that support client preparedness and long-term competitiveness.
• Develop presentation materials and support senior team members in client meetings contributing to relationship development and client retention.
• Collaborate with global colleagues and internal partners to share knowledge align on best practices and deliver a consistent high-quality client experience.

• Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 13 years of experience in capital markets investor relations financial services or a comparable client-facing role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with data tools and models in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients including senior stakeholders.

• Experience working directly with investor relations teams or publicly traded companies.
• Familiarity with shareholder analysis buy-side research or equity capital markets.
• Exposure to global teams and cross-border collaboration.

This position will be located inChicagoand offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office subject to change providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $66000 - $112000. In addition to base salary Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive) and equity (long-term incentive) comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to: skill set experience education/training business needs and market demands.
