Sentara Therapy Center Cancer Rehab located at the Brock Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated Cancer Rehab Supervisor to join our team. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed with our cancer patients in mind offering specialized neuro and cancer rehabilitation services delivered by an expert multidisciplinary team.
At Sentara Therapy Center we bring together highly trained physical therapists occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to provide personalized rehabilitation care. We are committed to helping our patients manage pain and speed healing throughout all stages of their cancer treatment and recovery.
The Cancer Rehab Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily operations of our cancer rehabilitation services. This includes supervising clinical staff coordinating multidisciplinary care maintaining high-quality and patient-centered services and supporting continuous improvement within the department.
Supervise and support a team of physical occupational and speech-language therapy clinicians.
Oversee scheduling workflow and operational processes within the center. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient-centered care.
Support program development staff education and quality initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Sentara Health policies.
Participate in performance improvement and patient safety efforts.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia.
Minimum 3 years of rehabilitation experience preferably with oncology cancer patients.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication organization and interpersonal skills
. Certification in oncology rehabilitation is a plus.
