Another Sources client UNC Charlotte is recruiting a Campus Land Planner to join their team in Charlotte North Carolina.This is a hybrid opportunity with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week with supervisor approval.

About this role:

UNC Charlotte is seeking a Campus Land Planner to help shape the physical future of one of the Southeasts fastest-growing public universities. Reporting within the Planning Design and Construction department this role serves as a key advisor on campus planning initiatives guiding land use decisions campus development and landscape planning that align with the universitys long-term strategic vision.

Youllcollaborate with colleagues across Facilities Managementincluding Grounds Engineering Sustainability Maintenance Operations and Planningas well as university leadership and external design consultants to guide projects from early planning through implementation. This is an opportunity to influence everything from campus master planning and feasibility studies to outdoor spaces and future development ensuring the campus continues to grow in thoughtful sustainable and innovative ways.

Experience You Will Bring

  • Bachelors degree in planning landscape architecture architecture engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of professional experience in campus planning land planning landscape architecture architecture engineering ora relateddiscipline.
  • Experience coordinating planning design or construction projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of land use planning site development and campus or institutional planning principles.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate planning concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written verbal and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in planning landscape architecture architecture engineering ora relatedfield.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible planning or design experience.
  • Experience developing campus master plans landscape master plans or institutional planning initiatives.
  • Experience working within higher education public sector or similarly complex organizations.
  • Licensed or the ability to obtain licensure to practice landscape architecture through the North Carolina Board of Landscape Architects.
