Job Description:

Responsibilities1: Receive telephone calls and refer them to the appropriate individual or department.2: Take and transcribe messages to ensure prompt transmission to the appropriate party.3: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate individual.4: Provide general information about the organization to outside callers (e.g. applicants and vendors).5: May ensure that a visitors log is maintained and issue visitors badges.ScopeContinue learning aspects of the job. Work on task-oriented assignments. Contact primarily within immediate work unit.QualificationsEducation: High School or equivalent : 1 year of related experience Experience: N/ASkills & Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of personal computer use Microsoft Office Suite use of office equipment. Standard typing skills required. Ability to work on a : None or very little.* Combination of candidates education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to descriptions minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer applicable software and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
