Salary: $80000 to $90000 per year
Travel: Extensive regional travel required (East Coast)

About the Role:

ISR Transport is supporting the appointment of a Camera Systems Specialist to support the deployment and long-term operation of roadside automated traffic enforcement systems.

This position combines field engineering technical configuration contractor management and operational support across speed enforcement red-light enforcement and other roadside safety technologies. Youll work throughout the full project lifecycle from site assessments and installation oversight through commissioning optimization maintenance and ongoing system performance.

The successful individual will already understand the operational challenges of roadside Transportation Technology deployments and be comfortable working with municipalities subcontractors equipment manufacturers and project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation activities carried out by subcontractors ensuring roadside camera systems are deployed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
• Configure commission and optimize automated traffic enforcement systems including speed and red-light camera solutions.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments providing recommendations on camera positioning visibility communications power and operational performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware software networking and communications issues affecting live roadside systems.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance calibration activities and corrective maintenance to maximise system availability.
• Support permitting municipal approvals and compliance with applicable DOT and regulatory requirements.
• Work with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and implement system improvements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation maintenance records and asset information throughout the operational lifecycle.

Skills Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working with automated traffic enforcement ITS infrastructure roadside technology or CCTV deployments.
• Proven experience configuring commissioning and troubleshooting roadside camera systems.
• Good understanding of networking communications equipment and remote monitoring technologies.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors field service providers and installation activities.
• Knowledge of traffic enforcement deployments roadside construction practices and utility coordination.
• Familiarity with municipal and DOT approval processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings site layouts and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills within live operational environments.
• Valid drivers licence with the ability to travel extensively.
