We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Camera and Access Control Technician to provide part-time support for security systems. The technician will assist with the maintenance troubleshooting and installation of security cameras and access control solutions across multiple facilities.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience in low-voltage systems security infrastructure and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support for security cameras (CCTV/IP) and access control systems.
Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs of equipment.
Assist with new installations including wiring device setup and system configuration.
Work with IT/security teams to address system alerts and performance issues.
Maintain accurate records of service repairs and installations.
Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.

Qualifications:

Experience with CCTV IP cameras and access control systems.
Hands-on knowledge of Genetec Security Center and ExacqVision platforms is strongly preferred.
Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing switches connectivity).
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus).
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in security systems low-voltage or IT support.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed.
Must pass a background check.

Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
