Job Summary
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center is seeking an RN to join the Caldwell Chemo Infusion Team! This position would require working 3 days a week with a variable day of at our Caldwell Cancer Infusion Center. ****Sign On Bonus now offered for this role!!
In this role you will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with members of a larger health care team in the ongoing assessment planning and treatment of patients and families. You must utilize resources wisely while promoting physical spiritual and emotional well-being. This includes maintaining accurate and complete documentation of nursing services and serving as a patient advocate.
In addition to providing hands-on nursing care you will work and serve in a broad range of capacities including but not limited to delegation assessment planning of care and treatment teaching of the patient and the patients family. You will be expected to exercise competency in judgment decision-making implementation of nursing intervention delegation of function or responsibility and administration of medications and treatments prescribed by legally authorized persons.
About This Position:
This is a part-time position. No weekends or holidays!
Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate within 6 months of starting.
