Cafeteria Assistant

Position Requirements

KnowledgeSkillsand Abilities:

• Knowledge of use of office equipment such as the copy machine and basic computer skills
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
• Able to think critically and plan logically in a cafeteria environment
• Ability to honor and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to multitask be flexible and capable of handling a variety of on-going projects at the same time
• Takes initiative to complete tasks with limited supervision
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Demonstrate reliability punctuality and personal integrity. Personal issues will not interfere with professional responsibility.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and personal demeanor
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and duties.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn new skills and advance in personal development

Special Requirements:

• Preferred practicing Catholic in good standing
• Prior food service experience is preferred but not required
• Must pass Safe Environment standards and be fingerprinted through IdentoGO
• Must hold a food handlers certificate
• Required hours: 8am to 1pm Monday-Friday
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
