POSITION TITLE: Cafeteria Aide (Lunchroom Supervisor)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma
REPORTS TO: Principal and/or Assistant Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10:00-1:00 Hourly Rate
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work closely with other support staff teachers and administrators to develop and implement efficient procedures for the lunch period.
- Give direction to students while in the cafeteria.
- Provide support for students while learning lunch procedures (open milk cartons carrying and dumping trays etc.).
- Supervise students in order to maintain safety in the cafeteria.
- Maintain positive communication with students teachers and cafeteria staff.
- Support school wide behavior goals.
- Assist with cafeteria set up and clean up as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
