This is a full-time 10-month position with daytime hours making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people thrives in a team environment and wants to be part of a school community.

As a Cafeteria Aide you will play an important role in keeping our cafeteria operations running smoothly while helping provide students and staff with a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.

Because teamwork and flexibility are essential to our cafeteria operation the successful candidate must be willing to cross-train in a variety of cafeteria positions and responsibilities. Depending on daily operational needs you may assist with meal preparation serving cashiering dishwashing cleaning stocking or other kitchen-related duties.

Your work directly supports our students by helping ensure they receive safe nutritious meals in a clean friendly and efficient environment.

• Help prepare and serve meals to students and staff
• Welcome and assist students during meal service with a friendly and positive attitude
• Assist with basic food preparation portioning and food service
• Help maintain an organized and efficient serving area
• Wash and sanitize dishes utensils equipment and work surfaces
• Keep kitchen serving and dining areas clean and sanitary
• Restock food beverages utensils and supplies as needed
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and follow established procedures
• Follow all food safety sanitation and hygiene requirements
• Assist with cashiering and other cafeteria functions as assigned
• Work cooperatively with cafeteria staff to support daily operations
• Cross-train in multiple cafeteria positions and be willing to perform different duties based on operational needs

Previous food service cafeteria or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
