Role: CAE Engineer
Location: Raymond OH (Hybrid)
Duration: Permanent (Full-Time)

Job Description:

• Develop custom software for engineering process automation with a focus on CAE and simulation tools integrating disparate tool suites and data pipelines to improve capability and efficiency of vehicle development and engineering processes.
• Deliverables related to integrating commercial open source or internal tools through published APIs.
• Third Party Tool Integration Modules
• Production-ready plugins drivers or adapter libraries that connect external tools (e.g. CAE simulation analytics platforms) via REST SDKs MQTT or other supported interfaces
• Clear abstraction layers to isolate external API dependencies
• API Interface Specifications
• Interface control documents (ICDs) describing endpoints data contracts authentication methods rate limits and error handling
• Versioned API compatibility notes for third party tools
• Configuration & Deployment Artifacts
• Environment configuration files (dev/test/prod)
• Credentials handling and secure connection setup
• Integration Validation Reports
• Test results demonstrating successful connectivity data accuracy and performance under expected loads.
• Mock or sandbox test artifacts when production systems are unavailable
