CAD Business Analyst
Looking for someone who would be expected to know or learn as needed enough about CAD-related processes/products/people AND about PLM and CAD tools to partner with business to solve problems and make improvements. These tools primarily include PTC Creo Parametric application using PTC Windchill for PLM.
This typically does not include day-to-day production support (but often will) but rather deals with relationships communications data methods/processes conventions (promoting commonality!) improvements etc.
It requires an ability to troubleshoot tough issues write a clear problem statement (which does NOT include solutions) understand and write requirements and create optimal conceptual/solution designs which (as needed) can be used by developers in technical design & coding.
Also requires significant project management data management and Windchill/Creo software user skills. Computer science or deep technical knowledge is useful but not required. Objective should always be solving problems and creating solutions while avoiding/minimizing/reducing complexity and/or customizations(Simplicity: The art of maximizing the amount of work not done!).
Required: Degree in an engineering field or 2-5yearswork experience using Creo Parametric withWindchill.
Preferred:Experience with Windchill or Creo Parametric support training or administration. A strong background or interest in computer science 3D printing or additive manufacturing
Model-Based Definition or PLM/CAD AI tools is a plus.

Summary Pay Range:
$89210.00 - $133810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
