Job Summary
We are seeking a SolidWorks CAD Drafter to create and design CAD drawings for business. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with mechanical assemblies and has an eagerness to learn more about the plastics industry. Typical CAD drawings will range and include common applications such as modifications to rotationally molded tanks various piping spool assemblies custom plastic fabrication and machined CNC components. Our equipment and products we create are used by a variety of industries including: WWT Pool Medical device Food & Beverage Commercial & Institutional Semiconductor Chemical Waste Microelectronics and Metal Finishing. You are expected to be familiar with equipment assembly and layout :Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysisCreate engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturingCreate design specifications documentation and material listsEstimate costs for designsPrepare complete documentation packages for engineersVerify drawings are correct to specifications codes and other regulationsDevelop and maintain a product library of components and assembliesSkills & Qualifications:Ability to proficiently operate SolidWorks softwareAbility to multitask and manage several projects at a timeExceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracyInterpersonal skills to work within a team taking directions from team leaders and sales representativesWork with our fabrication and manufacturing teams to update drawings to reflect as-builtsTime management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframeCommunication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reportsCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutionsWhy Build a Career with UsEveryones an Owner of the Company:Because every team member contributes to Flow Control Groups success everyone has the benefits of ownership!
