Schedule:Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Position Summary:Originates and develops ideas to design the form of manufactured products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned:

Prepares or coordinates preparation of working drawings from sketches and design specifications for project review.

Design and release of jobs to Production.

Designs products for custom applications.

Maintain design revision control through the ECN process.

Maintain/Update CAD library through the PDM software.

Production assistance for shop floor.

Prepares designs for review and discusses the need for modification and change.

Builds simulated model.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to walk and sit.
• The employee is frequently required to stand.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to (25) pounds.

Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree Required

1-2 years experience with this specific software

• Auto Desk Inventor (preferred)
• Solid Works
• PTC Creo
• Siemens NX
• Or similar is acceptable

Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical Ability: Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry such as area circumference and volume.
