Volumods team of more than 100 skilled professionals builds apartment buildings and other multi-family housing in sections - called modules - within a heated-and-cooled facility. Position Summary:

Volumod is expanding its cabinet and millwork division on the far east side of Indianapolis IN to

produce frameless cabinets for our modules. Weve invested in brand new CNC equipment and are

looking for a dependable CNC Operator to help keep production running smoothly. The successful

candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints set up and operate CNC machines adjust

machine settings as needed store and recover programs and ensure that all products meet quality

standards. You must have experience programming and generating cabinets. We are looking for

someone who is highly organized detail-oriented has excellent problem-solving skills and able to

work independently with minimal supervision. If you have a strong understanding of CNC machining

processes in woodworking environments we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
• Program and nest parts as required.
• Operate Biesse Rover AS FT machine with assist from vacuum tube lift system
• Check parts for accuracy and quality.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machine malfunctions.
• Communicate production issues material needs and quality concerns to supervision
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
• Meet daily/weekly production goals and timelines

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (team lift for heavier materials)
• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending reaching and material handling

Work Environment:

• Indoor manufacturing and woodworking shop
• Exposure to machinery wood/manufacturing dust and fabrication materials
• PPE required including safety glasses hearing protection and gloves

Qualifications:

• CNC programming with BSolid REQUIRED
• Experience with Mosaic software preferred
• CNC experience with frameless cabinets preferred
• Experience with BIESSE Rover AS FT preferred
