C++ Developer | Trading Infrastructure | Experienced Hire

Susquehanna is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a front office team responsible for designing and building low-latency trading systems that power our trading strategies. Our short development cycles mean your work reaches production quickly and your impact is immediate and visible.

In this role you will:

• Design and build high-performance low-latency systems where architecture choices directly affect trading outcomes
• Own the full technical stack from system design through implementation with a focus on stability scalability and minimizing operational risk
• Evaluate and prototype new technologies tools and approaches to keep our systems and infrastructure ahead of the curve
• Apply strong software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design to build systems that are both fast and maintainable

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent
• 3 years of progressive experience developing software applications or trading infrastructure
• Strong foundation in system design with the judgment to balance performance reliability and simplicity
• Experience with (or strong aptitude for) high-performance or low-latency system development
• Solid object-oriented programming skills and sound engineering practices
• Comfort working directly with non-engineering stakeholders (traders quants) to shape technical solutions around real trading needs
• Curiosity and initiative with a track record of investigating new technologies and proposing improvements
