Job Summary
At Bio Fab Technologies were excited about reinvesting into this fantastic product line with Steridose and is looking to hire new team members to help us! With growth on the horizon and its recent move into a brand-new manufacturing location the future has never looked brighter. We are seeking aBuyer/Planner/Schedulertodrive operations purchasing production scheduling and inventory management for a specific commodity or line of parts (Steridose). Acting as the central liaison between engineering supply base and assembly operations you balance inventory valuation with customer lead times.

Purchasing & Sourcing
- Execute purchase orders (POs) based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) requirements.
- Source and negotiate with vendors regarding price lead times and quality standards.
- Manage supplier relationships and track performance via Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Cost Quality and Delivery.
- Resolve any pricing or invoice discrepancies quickly to maintain smooth material flow.
- Use Decision Tree mentality to quickly determine make vs. buy decisions.
- Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to predict future product demand.
- Set and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production and meet financial goals.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the life cycle of parts including new model launches and phase-outs.
- Schedule production builds and work orders based on forecast and material availability.
- Plan and organize the sequencing of assembly operations to meet strict deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with production and engineering staff to adjust schedules as constraints arise (e.g. machine delays or material shortages).
- Ensure universal alignment between engineering drawings purchasing and the master schedule.
- Collect Demand Data by SKU on a Monthly Basis for Demand Segmentation Analysis
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Management or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Systems:Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (M1 highly preferred).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation conflict resolution and the ability to operate cross-functionally.
