Buyer II

• Procure direct materials based on MRP requirements across departments ensuring timely availability and adequate inventory levels.
• Assist with developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize cost quality and delivery.
• Identify potential suppliers conduct supplier evaluations and participate in contract negotiations to secure cost savings and favorable terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement guidance.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers monitor vendor performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
• Use procurement tools and systems to track purchases manage budgets and report on procurement activity.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and initiatives supporting broader organizational goals.
• Stay current on best practices in procurement and supply chain management to continuously improve processes.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred but not required.
• 3 years of proven experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
• Ability to work independently prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
• Working knowledge of procurement best practices contract management and relevant regulations.
• Solid business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and supplier landscapes.
• CPIM or CRIM certification a plus.
