The Butcher Block Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Butcher Block department ensuring exceptional customer service product quality food safety compliance and operational excellence. This role is responsible for supervising department associates maintaining merchandising standards managing inventory and supporting sales and profitability objectives. The Butcher Block Supervisor leads by example in delivering a superior fresh meat shopping experience.

• Supervise daily Butcher Block operations to ensure efficient execution and exceptional product presentation.
• Ensure fresh meat and specialty products are properly cut packaged labeled displayed and rotated.
• Maintain attractive fully stocked service cases and merchandising displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering receiving and replenishment activities.
• Minimize shrink through proper handling rotation and inventory control practices.
• Ensure department cleanliness and organization in accordance with company standards.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product selection preparation recommendations cooking suggestions and special orders.
• Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Promote department sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.

• Supervise train coach and develop Butcher Block associates.
• Coordinate daily work assignments to ensure operational efficiency and customer service standards are met.
• Foster a positive productive and team-oriented work environment.
• Support performance management and accountability initiatives.
• Communicate department goals expectations and company initiatives to associates.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitation health and safety regulations.
• Monitor product quality freshness and adherence to company standards.
• Ensure proper storage temperature control labeling and handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain required food safety and operational documentation.
• Ensure associates follow all company policies and safety procedures.

• Support department sales labor shrink and profitability goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist with implementing promotional and seasonal merchandising programs.
• Support execution of department initiatives designed to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
