• Assures that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation
• Possesses knowledge of the position of each diners chair in the dining rooms and lounges
• Sets the outside line with underliner plates flatware doilies linen napkins and any other items needed for food delivery
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with the corresponding ticket to run food to tables
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards
• Ensures that each menu item is prepared exactly as outlined on each ticket
• Communicates with the chef to correct any menu item that does not meet specifications before delivering to guests
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes any unused place settings
• Clears dishes in front of guests upon completion of each course
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave including changing tablecloths brushing chairs repositioning chairs and replacing silverware glassware and napkins
• Assists servers as needed
• Keeps workstations well stocked with items and ingredients
• Cleans workstations takes out trash and vacuums the dining room
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required
