Busser Server Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:BUSSER/SERVER ASSISTANT

Summary:

A Busser/Server Assistant is attentive to guests needs at all times and works closely with the restaurant team to ensure that tables are clean set and ready helping to create a positive and memorable guest experience.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Ensures the dining room looks neat and presentable.
• Arrange tables for large parties and prepares for large parties.
• Observes seated guests and alerts servers if guests need refills or other assistance.
• Checks restrooms at least every hour to be sure they are clean and stocked.
• Maintains building exterior by cleaning sidewalks landscaping and parking lots as requested.
• Maintains a safe work area by cleaning up dining room and service aisle spills
• Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned
• Assist with servers and other team members as requested
• Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to follow directions work in a fast-paced high pressure customer responsive environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate with co-workers and guests.
• Professional conduct at all times
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Minimum lifting pushing and pulling of 40 pounds occasionally up to 60 pounds
• Pushing bending stooping walking upward reaching manual dexterity seeing hearing verbal communication
