Job Summary
Naperville Country Club located in Naperville IL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Busser! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation:
$12 - $14 per hour tips
Key Responsibilities:
- Assures that all material used by the server is clean and ready for daily operation
- Possesses knowledge of the position of each diners chair in the dining rooms and lounges
- Sets the outside line with underliner plates flatware doilies linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivery of food
- Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with its corresponding ticket to run food to tables
- Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards
- Ensures that each menu item is prepared to the exact specifications outlined on each ticket
- Corrects menu items with the chef before delivery if they do not meet specifications
- Fills and refills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used
- Clears dishes in front of guests upon completion of each course
- Clears and resets tables when guests leave including but not limited to: changing tablecloths brushing chairs repositioning chairs replacing silverware and glassware and replacing napkins
- Assists the server when needed
- Keeps workstations well stocked with items and ingredients
- Cleans workstations takes out trash and vacuums the dining room
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- One month related experience or training
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism cleanliness and neatness
- Regular and reliable attendance including weekends and holidays
