Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Business Operations Manager to join the Fabrication Team (FSCA Business Unit) located in Orangeburg South Carolina on 1st Shift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives.
• Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
• Monitors and adjusts program or business unit work statement capacity.
• Reviews management system execution makes appropriate adjustments.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience in program management project management and/or business operations
• 5 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
• 5 years of experience in a technical aerospace manufacturing environment/company
• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functional project/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• 5 years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
• Experience creating and presenting materials to leadership
