The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services BGS is seeking a Business Operations Manager for Government Services. This role will be located in Berkeley MO
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of Business Operations Specialists who support and promote the operational excellence of the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services business globally directly supporting the executive leadership team. Additionally you will be responsible for leading the development execution and implementation of cross functional improvement initiatives focused on systemic issues and processes impacting first time quality on time delivery and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will model Boeings Service Champion culture demonstrate a strong customer focus and act as a change leader promoting a services-first approach.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Ensures work statement compliance and consistent management system processes and tools are used
Manages develops and motivates employees
Utilizes knowledge of how the business and organization operates policies practices trends and information affecting the business and organization to achieve optimal project and team outcomes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functionalproject/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
3 years experience in Business Process Modeling Process Management Skills Integrated Systems Thinking Process Improvement Methods and/or Analytical Skills
3 years experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management customers stakeholders peers and partners
3 years experience with project management and ability to self-manage projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
2 years experience communicating advising or briefing Executive Leadership
1 years supporting the design development or implementation of digital solutions
