Overview:

Sentara Neurology Specialists are seeking to hire a Business Operations Coordinator in Norfolk Virginia.

Position Hours: 8am-4:30pm M-F (flexibility required for a monthly meeting)

Overview

This role will support physician hospital org joint ventures and physical therapy areas with some accounting reporting data analysis and special projects. The Business Operations Coordinator works alongside department leadership to provide consultation and education to division leaders and staff regarding policies procedures initiatives and programs related to the departments function and areas of responsibility. Participates in planning and implementation of department-initiated programs including support for ongoing monitoring. Designs and prepares moderate to complex reports and creates presentations in support of department operations or special projects utilizing available business tools such as Microsoft Office applications report writers databases or proprietary and/or commercial information systems.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associate or bachelors degree preferred

Certification/Licensure

  • None required

Experience

  • Related experience of 2 years required
  • Finance or Accounting or Business background strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office strongly preferred
