Pay: $210000.00 - $225000.00 per year

Location:

Louisville Kentucky (Hybrid) Enjoy the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days remotely each week.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Kentucky and have at least 5 years of business litigation experience. Strong experience handling written discovery depositions pleadings substantive motions mediations and court appearances is required.

Job Description

• Represent clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
• Conduct written discovery and defend and take depositions.
• Draft pleadings dispositive motions and other substantive filings.
• Participate in mediations hearings arbitrations and court appearances.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups.
• Deliver strategic legal advice while maintaining exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Kentucky Bar license.
• 5 years of business or commercial litigation experience.
• Strong experience with discovery depositions pleadings and motion practice.
• Excellent legal research writing and analytical skills.
• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus.
