About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 3 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience to join our growing litigation practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished litigators on sophisticated high-stakes disputes involving businesses executives and organizations across a wide range of industries.

In this role you will take on meaningful responsibility from day one collaborating directly with partners and clients while managing significant litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Assist with all phases of litigation including case strategy pleadings discovery motion practice depositions hearings and trial preparation.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft persuasive motions briefs memoranda and other litigation documents.
• Manage large-scale litigation matters involving complex legal and factual issues.
• Collaborate closely with partners associates and cross-functional legal teams to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients opposing counsel experts and court personnel.
• Participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings including mediations and arbitrations.
• Analyze legal issues assess litigation risks and provide practical business-focused legal advice.
• Support trial teams through witness preparation exhibit management and courtroom proceedings.
• Maintain exceptional client service while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• 3 5 years of experience in complex business or commercial litigation.
• At least one year of litigation experience with a law firm required.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Outstanding legal research writing analytical and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience managing sophisticated litigation matters through various stages of litigation.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
