As a Business Intelligence Engineer II youll play a key role in the design development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that power data-driven decision-making across the organization. Youll work closely with data engineers analytics teams and business stakeholders to build and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards and curate reliable well-structured data in Snowflake.

Youll be expected to work independently on BI deliverables while also contributing to team best practices and supporting the growth of the business

About the role

• Design build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver clear actionable insights to business stakeholders across multiple domains
• Write optimize and maintain SQL in Snowflake to source transform and curate data for reporting and analytical use cases
• Develop and maintain data models that support scalable reusable BI solutions
• Identify investigate and resolve data quality issues ensuring reports reflect accurate and trustworthy data
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-designed BI solutions
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews with a focus on performance readability and maintainability
• Monitor existing dashboards and pipelines proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact stakeholders
• Document data definitions report logic and processes to support team knowledge sharing
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical debt within the BI environment
• Stay current on Tableau and Snowflake capabilities and advocate for adoption of best practices across the team

About you

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence Data Analytics or equivalent experience
• Proven proficiency in SQL including complex joins window functions aggregations and query optimization
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling
• Ability to work independently on deliverables while collaborating effectively across teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science Information Systems Business Analytics or a related field
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Exposure to Python or another scripting language for data manipulation or automation
• Current business focused AI use.
