WHATS THE JOB


We are seeking a Business Finance Analyst to support operations finance. Reporting to the Director Operations this role partners with operations and finance teams to analyze forecast and report financial results supporting data-driven decision-making.

Your work will include:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements by contract/business unit vs budget and forecast
  • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations
  • Support annual budgets forecasts and business planning
  • Analyze site-level profitability cost drivers and KPIs
  • Partner with operations leadership to improve financial performance
  • Support month-end close including accruals and allocations
  • Prepare financial reporting packages for stakeholders
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and GL review
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements
  • Support audits and internal controls
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and business case support

Qualifications :

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Finance Accounting or Business
  • 3 years of financial analysis
  • Experience in contract or operations-based environments preferred
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
  • CPA (or working toward) is an asset
  • Advanced Excel (modeling pivot tables data analysis)
  • ERP systems experience (SAP Oracle NetSuite Dynamics)
  • Experience with reporting/BI tools (Power BI Tableau) is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to translate financial results into operational insights
