As a Business Execution & Planning Manager Sr within PNCs Business Experience & Planning organization you will be based in Pittsburgh PA Dallas TX Birmingham AL Phoenix AZ or Denver CO.


Role Summary

The Business Exp & Planning Manager Sr leads cross-functional efforts to enhance business planning methodologies and drive execution of key line-of-business strategies. This role is responsible for defining strategic initiatives ensuring alignment across the organization and delivering measurable business outcomes while upholding strong customer focus leadership standards and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

o Define and implement business planning processes that align with line-of-business objectives

o Design and oversee execution of strategic plans grounded in forecasts operational insights and business priorities

o Establish and drive key initiatives growth strategies and programs that deliver measurable impact

Leadership & Team Management

o Lead and develop a team responsible for advancing business planning practices and execution

o Set clear direction provide guidance and ensure accountability for achieving business objectives

o Promote a culture of continuous improvement best practices and knowledge sharing

Business & Financial Alignment

o Develop solutions that support both operational and financial objectives

o Identify and execute opportunities that create value and improve business performance

o Ensure initiatives are aligned with broader organizational goals and priorities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

o Drive alignment and synergy across business units and functional areas

o Influence outcomes through effective communication negotiation and partnership

Risk Management & Customer Focus

o Champion high standards of quality customer focus and leadership practices

o Integrate appropriate risk management into planning processes and execution activities

o Ensure decisions and strategies are aligned with enterprise risk and control frameworks

Best Practices & Continuous Improvement

o Lead the development and implementation of best practices in business planning and execution

o Continuously assess and refine planning approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications

Extensive experience in business planning strategy development or program management

Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives

Strong ability to translate business strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes

Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and influencing senior decision-makers

Deep understanding of risk management practices and customer-focused service delivery

Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills

Job Description
  • Manages and leads portfolio managers to ensure success in the execution of organizational portfolios in support of corporate strategy. No requirement for portfolio size.
  • Manages and assesses the development and approval process for strategic initiative governance for assigned portfolios.
  • Monitors the development and review of analysis and reporting information related to key strategic portfolio milestones.
  • Oversight and accountability for the overall portfolio budget while working to ensure success of the portfolio.
  • Coaches and develops portfolio managers. Works across multi-disciplinary functions and manages vender relationships to ensure success of the portfolio. Consults with project and program managers/teams as needed.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $123200.00 $274560.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location market data and on individual skills experience and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company business and/or individual performance.
